MONA FREEDMAN RN, CNLCP
Mona is a Registered Nurse and the parent of adult twin daughters, one of which has mild intellectual disabilities. She have been a business founder and owner, entrepreneur, and community leader for over 30 years. In 1998, Mona founded Caring Communities, a disability non-profit organization and continues as the Executive Director. Caring Communities offers online and in-person respite care training, a respite care online searchable registry, produces the World of Possibilities Disabilities Expo, Rock-Able disability awareness school assembly programs, and Charm City Countdown: Baltimore’s largest all-inclusive charity New Year’s Eve Gala+++.
Over decades of business development, She has launched dozens of projects in a wide variety of interest. As a entrepreneur, Mona has faced many challenges, but never gave up. She used each setback as an opportunity to learn and grow, and eventually achieved her goal of running several successful business.
